We want to raise $1.2 million to grow our capacity to serve more young people.
This summer and fall, we shared our plan for doing this with key supporters. It includes three parts.
Buying a second shared home to double the number of young adults we can help.
Introducing “expanded aftercare services,” which offer up to two more years of support after young adults complete our transitional living program.
Covering two years of operating costs to help stabilize as we grow.
What you told us
Through a combination of in-person conversations and online survey responses, 59 of you reacted to our plan. Here’s what you said.
You like what we’re doing and how we’re doing it.
You want us to grow.
You’ll support us financially to make it happen.
You want us to expand and diversify our leadership so we can reach more people to help us do this work.
Financial commitments, so far
We’ve identified several lead gifts ($50,000+) and 15 major gifts (ranging from $5,000-$25,000). Thank you!
We still need a “keystone” gift of $300,000 to move forward with the plan we outlined.
Our commitment to you and to young adults who need our program
We will continue to listen to and work with our supporters to identify the “keystone” gift for this campaign.
We will also expand and diversify our leadership and in turn, our base of support.
Finally, we’ll continue to explore alternative paths to growth to maximize the impact of your giving on our program and the youth we serve.
