Spreading the word about Onward

By Tricia Wright

executive director

This week, I had the privilege of visiting Eden Prairie High School to speak with an entrepreneurship class about the work we're doing at Onward. I told them how Onward was created to address the growing housing instability faced by many young adults. They asked some great questions. I ended the conversation with a request for help.

Here’s what I asked them to do.

  • Help us spread the word about Onward among your peers, teachers, coaches, parents and other caring adults.

  • If you know someone between the ages of 18 and 24 in need of safe and stable housing, tell them to contact us.

  • Take every opportunity to learn more about the causes and signs of homelessness.

I invite all of you to do the same.

Every time you tell someone about Onward, you are increasing the chances that a young adults in need of our services will find us.

Thank you, for spreading the word!
